To Wilson, being a good agent isn't jujst staying on top of whichever part of town is the neighborhood du jour. "It's a combination of listening and hearing what somebody wants, but also being perceptive. Sometimes someone will tell me one thing, but then I notice the client is responding to other things that he didn't even know would interest him." The other quality a top real estate agent should possess, according to Wilson, is patience. "I've worked with clients who have taken a year or a year and a half to find the right house, but it's not about that one deal you're doing; it's about the client and keeping them as customers for a lifetime."
