Jim has always been very active in the San Diego community. His most recent accomplishment as President of the Rancho Bernardo Community Library Association., Inc. was conceiving and directing the successful effort to build a new branch library for Rancho Bernardo. Jim has also served as Commissioner for the City of San Diego Public Library System, appointed by the Mayor and City Council.
