The Los Angeles branch of the Museum of Television and Radio
(the other branch is in Manhattan) is an architecturally striking
work by Richard Meier & Partners, who also designed L.A.'s Getty
Center. This is a fun museum for both adults and kids. It offers
samples from its library of more than 75,000 radio and television
daily—from "The Honeymooners" and "I Love Lucy" to "Maverick,"
"The Mod Squad," and "The Beverly Hillbillies." The gift shop
is a goldmine for fans of television trivia.
