Spread on over 30 acres, the Quail Botanical Gardens feature rare bamboo groves, a tropical rainforest, desert gardens, California native plants, Mediterranean climate landscapes, and a subtropical fruit garden. Quail introduced the West Coast's first interactive children's garden called Seeds of Wonder. Another new feature is an Undersea Garden, which opened in December 2004. The Gardens offer scenic walks and trails along deep canyons and sunny hillsides.
