Golden Gate Park

	As the San Francisco Chronicle puts it, "What's larger than New York's Central Park, once consisted of sand dunes, is now covered with more than one million trees, and is bison-friendly?" It's this lovely park, of course, which was deeded to the people of San Francisco in 1870 because someone had the foresight that someday the city would feel overcrowded. On the average weekend, about 75,000 people visit the park.
