The internationally influential San Francisco-based interior designer Michael Taylor (1927-1986), created this Mediterranean-style villa reminiscent of Capri, one of his greatest accomplishments during the 1960’s. This baronial home is a world unto itself with romantic courtyards, balustraded balconies, and expansive terraces cascading down to the swimming pool, tennis court, and gardens. Created by old-world craftsmen, Taylor’s design schemes are renowned for merging the indoors with the outdoors, natural light pours into the interior, lavish appointments including artifacts throughout the property.
